Hi,
I’m Julia,
I’m autistic and I have worked with autistic people and in a support position for 7 years Employment and Education Specialist at the Pacific Autism Family Network and i’m in school studying Applied Behavioural Analysis; out of a natural curiosity. After this I intend to apply for the Masters in Counselling Program. I am a proponent of the social model of disability and work from a neuroaffirming perspective recognizing that autism is a neurological variation and respectfully everyone has a different experience of this.
My coaching sessions are structured, I provide visuals and talking / being on video is an option.
I became a coach because I am an extrovert, I love working with other autistic people ike the dynamic of being in a partnership with my clients and
I was born in England and now lived in Vancouver, Beautiful British Colombia. I enjoy swimming, weight training and hot yoga. As well as, public speaking, Bernese Mountain Dogs and staying in A-frames. I am on the spectrum myself and I have worked with autistic individuals for 7 years.
